Opportunity:  TransProcure’s client is one of the largest semi-conductor companies in the country. They are now in need of a Strategic Sourcing Specialist who will be overall responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining strategic sourcing programs to achieve cost reduction through supplier sourcing, development and certification.

Position Overview

Principal Accountabilities:

Direct development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies across multiple commodities and technologies to meet corporate objectives for product quality, cost, reliability, asset management, product introduction cycle time

Develop new qualified domestic and international suppliers; improve supplier performance by reducing leadtime, improvement of on-time deliveries and reducing material and freight costs.

Key Deliverables

• Reduce total cost of materials while maintaining or improving levels of quality, service, and technology through Strategic Sourcing Process

• Establish and implements materials cost reduction programs to achieve company goals.

• Improve supplier performance through rigorous and regular supplier management programs

Qualifications:

• Preferably male, not more than 35 years of age.

• At least 5 years of working experience in strategic sourcing,
  commodity management or procurement in a semiconductor/electronics environment

• Engineering graduate, preferably I.E, ME, CheE.

• Must be knowledgeable in strategic sourcing process, commodity market analysis,
  supply strategies and supply planning tools

• Very strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Strong network of suppliers in semicon/electronics environment

• Excellent Communication, problem solving, organizational and planning skills

• Has Passion for Changes

• Ensure availability of products from  distributors end /inventory management and control
• Will handle order processing and invoicing
• Will report directly to to the Technical Operations and Logistics Head
• Must come from a pharma, FMCG, or highly dyamic, fast–paced organization
• Preferaby female candidates
• Must be willing to handle “nitty-gritty″

Experience and Qualifications Required

• BA in Business or numerate degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience within a   procurement environment                                    
• Previous experience working in a ERP system
• Experience working in a multinational company (desirable)
• Previous experience in a service/call center environment (desirable)

Required Knowledge and Skills:                          

• Knowledge of Procurement Processes and methods
• Mid-level IT Skills-previous workstation based experience pre-requisite
• Mid-Basic ERP skills, SAP-Procurement Modules
• Good communication Skills
• Customer centric focus-service delivery mentality

Experience and Qualifications Required 

• Has 5 years experiences within a procurement environment
• Experience in sourcing printing and packaging materials
• Implemented strategic sourcing practices in various commodities
• Willing to travel in Australia and other APAC countries
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred

Experience and Qualifications Required 

• University Degree in Engineering
• Good understanding on overall data management practices, with preference for knowledge in using MS-Access, SQL or equivalent for the data cleanse work
• Basic knowledge of SAP plant maintenance (PM) or procurement modules
• Experience with intools with ISM highly desired
• 3 or more years business experience will be given preference
• Non-engineering candidates with relevant background in Finance or Requisition to Payment will also be considered
• Ability to communicate effectively at different organizational levels and across multi-culturally diverse environment

Qualifications:

• Someone who has been a procurement and sourcing professional who has gained expertise in buying Print (ie; brochures, marketing materials, packaging etc)
• We are also open to someone who has work on the supply side (a supplier or a employee of a printing company) who has gained commercial and technical expertise on print selling
• Good analytical skills and work with cross functional/ cross cultural environment
• Willing to travel in Asia Pacific as needed to coordinate (ie; Singapore, Australia etc)
• Computer Literate (MS Excel, Powerpoint)
• Preference on someone who has consulting interest and experience

1. College graduate with a baccalaureate degree in Engineering, Procurement/Logistics, Business Administration or related courses.
2. Must have atleast 1-2 years experience in procurement or related work, preferably in real estate, property development or construction industry.

Basic Function:
                Assists and/or coordinates all procurement activities in the Real Estate Division, Corporate Resources Division and General Partners, Mancom and Board Staff involving, but not limited to, the accreditation of suppliers, canvassing and purchasing of goods and services, evaluation of suppliers’ performance, identification and implementation of cost-savings initiatives; coordinates with the Shopping Center Division on its procurement activities to ensure the consistent application and alignment of procurement policies and procedures across the company; and performs related functions.

Global Sourcing Manager

1. Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or any related course from a reputable institution. Registered engineer is a plus.
2. With 5 to 10 years experience in local and global trading, commerce and supply chain
3. Preferably with exposure in buying or trading construction related materials globally and with in-depth understanding in manufacturing, quality control and  trade logistics
4. Wide understanding of trade laws, safeguard duties, taxes and related trade policies affecting goods movement from one country to the other
5. Excellent oral and written communications in Mandarin and English
6. Possesses leadership and must be customer oriented and able to establish good relationship with international suppliers and possess high level of integrity
7. Willing to be based in Hong Kong or China

1. Set-up a buying office in either China or Hong Kong for the client and its subsidiaries’ construction requirements
2. Source foreign suppliers particularly in China and establish business relationship with them
3. Develop strategies in global sourcing with specific emphasizes on buying guidelines, terms and conditions, logistics protocol, quality control assurance and trade policy compliance
4. Responsible for all elements of commodity management, including: strategic understanding of the supply market place, pricing and term negotiations, preparation and analysis of global bid

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Engineer or college graduate with Business degree
2. At least 5 years experience in sourcing and purchasing of raw materials
3. Excellent vendor relationship management skills
4. Good negotiation skills
5. Customer oriented
6. Has a “can do” attitude
7. Experience in networking with transport services i.e. trucking services, haulers, shipping lines etc.
8. Willing to visit shipyards, warehouses, haulers etc.
9. Willing to travel to plant locations within the country.

Basic Function:

1. Mission is to plan, schedule, organize, monitor and optimize the incoming and outgoing transportation and logistics for raw materials, clinker and finished product.
2. Ensure a secure, reliable, safe and flexible materials flow as per required delivery schedule at competitive costs.
3. Identify, negotiate and prepare contracts for all logistics activities to secure safe, reliable and timely deliveries/shipments of raw goods.
4. Monitor and report stock levels and usage rates  for all raw materials.
5. Optimize the supply chain at competitive and minimized cost.
